Il Pellicano, Porto Ercole: Coastal Serenity
Il Pellicano, in Porto Ercole, offers a relaxed and luxurious beachfront experience. Its terraced layout, surrounded by lush gardens, creates an intimate atmosphere that feels far removed from the outside world. With the coastline at your doorstep, this is a tranquil haven that immerses you in coastal serenity.
La Posta Vecchia, Ladispoli: Grandeur by the Sea
La Posta Vecchia, in Ladispoli, is a grand palace set along the water's edge, adjacent to a historic castle. As you explore its labyrinthine stairwells and corridors, you'll feel transported to a bygone era. The palace exudes history and luxury, with every corner radiating elegance. It's a place where you become part of the story, a privileged guest in a grand coastal retreat.
Mezzatorre Hotel, Ischia: Island Elegance

The staff, across the board, embodied the essence of true Italian hospitality—warm, generous, friendly, and utterly attentive. It was akin to being welcomed into their extended family, a sentiment that left an indelible mark on every guest fortunate enough to experience it.
The service at each property was nothing short of exceptional, a consistent thread of excellence that wove its way through every moment of our stay. The staff's dedication to creating memorable experiences was evident, and their genuine warmth resonated long after our departure. It's safe to say that the exceptional service was not just a part of our stay but an unforgettable highlight, a testament to the enduring charm of Italian hospitality.

Among this diverse collection, I've handpicked four key Y Factors (yes 4, instead of just 1!!) serve as the cornerstones of the remarkable experiences awaiting our discerning travelers. This journey will lead us through these carefully chosen elements, each adding its distinct charm to the tapestry of our memorable stay.
Culture & Community: At all three properties, an immersion in Italian culture, cuisine, and warm hospitality is not just a feature; it's the essence of the experience. Favourite Hotel for Families or Multi-Gen:
While all these hotels excel in catering to a diverse range of guests, it's important to note that the properties may not be ideal for families with young children or individuals with limited mobility due to the presence of numerous stairs. However, it's worth mentioning that during my departure from Mezzatorre, I witnessed a splendid wedding celebration unfolding with approximately 60 guests spanning various age groups, all of whom were staying at the property. It was a truly enchanting setting for such a joyous occasion!

Most Unsuspecting Hotel (what were you most surprised by):
I cherished every moment spent at these remarkable properties, each one leaving an indelible mark on my heart. However, if I were to pick one that made an exceptionally profound impression, it would undoubtedly be La Posta Vecchia.
From the moment I set foot on the grounds of La Posta Vecchia, I was struck by the grandeur and majesty of this imposing edifice. It stands as a testament to history, an architectural masterpiece that exudes grace and elegance at every turn. The weight of centuries past hangs in the air, a tangible reminder of the stories and legacies woven into the very walls of this grand palace. Every step within its hallowed corridors is a journey through time, and every corner reveals a new layer of its storied past. The sense of awe and reverence that envelopes you in this historical cocoon is an experience beyond compare.
And then, there's Ischia. The mere mention of this enchanting island is enough to conjure images of stunning natural beauty. It's a place where reality seems to merge with dreams, where the boundaries between the earthly and the ethereal blur. The sheer expanse of Ischia's beauty is nothing short of unbelievable. From the moment I set foot on this island paradise, I was greeted by vistas that defied description. The azure waters, the lush landscapes, and the tranquil atmosphere enveloped me in a sense of wonder and serenity. Ischia is a testament to the raw, untamed beauty of nature, a place where the soul finds solace in the embrace of the earth itself.
Best Hotel Room:
When it comes to the best hotel rooms, I must unequivocally tip my hat to the accommodations at La Posta Vecchia. Each room is a masterpiece in its own right, exuding an individual charm that makes every stay a unique and memorable experience.
The rooms at La Posta Vecchia captivate with their stunning design, intriguing character, and delightful diversity. It's as if each room has a story to tell, a narrative woven into its very fabric. From the moment you step inside, you're transported to a realm of luxury and fascination that is entirely its own.
However, I do have one humble suggestion for the hotel. Given the property's many levels, meandering corridors, and enchanting stairwells, it might be a wonderful addition to offer guests a map to navigate this captivating labyrinth. Such a thoughtful touch could further enhance the overall experience, ensuring that guests can fully appreciate the wonder and splendour of this remarkable property.
