Introducing Y Travel’s Interview Series
As we make our foray back into the international market with the majority of destinations being open, now is the perfect time for people to hit the reset button on their travel mentality by weaving sustainable, ethical choices into every step of their decision-making process.
We help our clients do so by shedding light on purposeful operators and destinations. We encourage them to think about how accommodation, tour and activity providers are making a difference to the environment and communities in which they operate.
It might feel like a small action, but there’s a lot of power in choosing to spend money with tourism providers that support their local communities, honour and uphold the heritage, and are making an effort to reduce their environmental impact.
To that effect, we are very proud to release our Y TRAVEL INTERVIEW SERIES; where we uncover the stories behind the faces who shaped the purpose-led travel industry. Our heroes, our icons, our mentors. The personalities who make up the fabric of how this industry has morphed into a force for good, and how at the core of what each of them embodies is our Y factors.
In this series, we not only unpack the ‘y’ behind the pioneers of purpose led travel, luxury travel and sustainable travel, but we also introduce you to the faces behind the brands. Without these people, some of the most iconic experiences would not exist.
As Y Travel, we seek to protect the places that have afforded us so many memories and opportunities, and we are advocates for the only type of travel befitting our wonderous planet: slow travel. We acknowledge that the time to change the way we travel is now, and we approach every day with the premise that we urgently need to work together to travel impactfully and intentionally.
So, without further adieu, we introduce you to the people who stand firmly on the same ground as us. Welcome to the Y Travel Interview Series.
