The long-awaited W Sydney is set to make its Sydney debut in the latter half of 2023. Set in the heart of Darling Harbour, W Sydney will bring its unique take on modern luxury to the city when it opens its doors, igniting the waterfront location with energy, style and creativity. A beacon of bold, sophisticated design, W Sydney will dazzle the city with its truly original accommodation, restaurant, bars and venues.

InterContinental Sydney

InterContinental Sydney – lauded for its rich history and iconic harbourside location – just underwent a huge transformation, redefining the luxury hotel experience while paying homage to the building’s rich history. Every guest room and suite has been reimagined, alongside elevated public spaces. Included is a new central lobby bar and dining space, The Treasury, rooftop bar, Aster, offering 270 degree views of Sydney Harbour, and an exclusive offering in re-imagined rooftop spaces for Club guests. Restoration of original features will ensure the heritage-listed Treasury Building is preserved for the future. 

InterContinental Sydney

Capella Sydney

Internationally renowned resort group, Capella Hotels and Resorts, has confirmed it will open its debut Australian property, Capella Sydney, in March 2023. Capella Sydney will be the culmination of a transformation of the heritage-listed Department of Education into a luxury hotel that will welcome guests and patrons for the first time in the building’s history. Positioned on Bridge Street and easy walking distance of Circular Quay, the hotel will occupy an entire city block, encircled by Loftus and Young Streets. The character-filled building will be found nestled in close proximity to Sydney’s commercial, arts and cultural districts and at the heart of Sydney’s latest retail and hospitality precinct.

Kimpton Margot Sydney

Located in the heart of the CBD, the recently-opened Kimpton Margot Sydney fuses Art Deco ambience with modern luxe. The 172-room hotel features a grand Scagliola pillared lobby, bold patterns, plush furnishings, and botanical displays. Guests will also enjoy a hero restaurant by acclaimed Australian chef Luke Mangan; a glamorous rooftop bar and pool; and thoughtful partnerships that exemplify mindfulness and wellness with Lekker bikes and Egg of the Universe.

Little National Sydney, Wynyard 

Fledgling Australian brand Little National has arrived in Sydney, promising affordable luxury to savvy travellers. The key innovation is the Japanese-style accommodation: the rooms are modest in size, but the hotel’s high ceilings and great natural light ensure guests don’t feel cramped. On-site amenities include a fitness centre, a rooftop bar and lounge. Little National rises above Wynyard train station in the city centre, a stone’s throw the iconic shopping of Pitt Street Mall, and a short walk to the historic Rocks precinct and neighbouring Circular Quay and Barangaroo.

Oxford House

Borrowing design cues from the sun-kissed motels of Southern California, Oxford House is an ultra-cool, inner-city boutique set in the heart of Paddington, just moments from Sydney’s most exciting and lively areas, including Darlinghurst, Surry Hills and the CBD.

Fresh, minimal interiors furnish the light-filled rooms with curated details, including specially selected artworks, chic furniture, and luxe materials. Guests can expect Australian linens, Nespresso coffee machines, GHD hair dryers, and a mini bar in their suite.

A pool terrace that harnesses tropical vibes is complemented by an adjacent bar and invites guests to unwind on hot Sydney days as they take a break from city explorations. Cocktails and casual fare can be found at the hotel’s Oh! Bar, with DJs playing every Friday to Sunday from 6pm in spring and summer.
